Hey guys! I'm from the originally from Cloverdale but I've lived all over the lower mainland (Abbotsford, Surrey, north and south Burnaby and now Vancouver). I searched this section of the forum in hopes of finding a Vancouver thread but found nothing of the sort. If any of you are interested in meeting up sometime, this is the place to post. If we can get enough people to show interest I'll gladly organize a meet... so post something, anything... say hi!

EDIT: After 3 pages of discussion, we've decided to meet outside Waterfront Station on March 26th (Saturday) @ Noon (12PM).

Waterfront Station is located at 601 West Cordova Street. The station is within walking distance of Vancouver's historical Gastown district and the Canada Place cruise ship terminal. See photo below!

PS: I don't know about everyone else, but I really don't care if you shoot with a Canon or not. If you're a Nikon user etc... don't be discouraged. ANY slr-user is welcome

Sorry no one has replied. I use to fly out to Vancouver ever 2 weeks for almost 3 years, but have only been out that way a couple times in the last couple years. There are lots of great places to take photos around Vancouver and the lower mainland. I especially like going down to Grandville Island, and around the sea wall, as well as heading out to the Super Port, and walking the dike.

Hope you find a few people to meet up with.

How about we set an actual time/place so that more people can actually decide whether or not they can show up. How does spring break sound? Perhaps we could meet outside Waterfront station in Gas Town? Totally open to suggestions... would like a little input from you guys. What do you think Geno?
