Ebay. 460 bucks + 8% if you have bing cashback. Their online polish store has it for 405. I don't know if shipping is free or not.

oops, image is huge....

Great color, sharp, super resistant to flare....It's definately a winner. PTLens is an easy program to use :D

And only $25 too! Samyang 14mm + PTLens or Canon 14mm L II? Only a savings of 1.5K! :p

:o I think canon is not in the same league ... I ordered the samyang to see wether I can use such UWGA properly.
Then I will see wether I buy the canon, which should be much sharper in the edges, and has a usefull AF for near subject wide open with bokeh background ..
When I compare my 24L1.4II and sigma 24F1.8, they can both give nice pictures, but as soon as you start to crop there is a big difference.

thank you for the link. I am a little surprised, as the images do not look as good in the corner as the review claims. this is about what I am getting out of the sigma 12-24, albeit less flare on the samyang.
I will pass for now.

The extreme corners are similar to what you'd see on every lens in this focal range. Better than most, actually.

Corners look good to me on the City Street at f=8.

Yeah, the vignetting seems to go away from 5.6-8 as well and it's not bad at all wide open. And a lot of these are on a 5dMk2, which is pretty good at exposing a lens' flaws.

Hmm, my only concern was the moustache distortion, with Ptlens it doesn't seem too bad at all!

This time, I controled the correction made by PTlens .. so I used a sample from lenstip and I deleted all exif informations (PTlens has only Canon 5D and 5DMKII Samyang profile, lenstip samples are shot with a Nikon D3x)

On this sample geometry and vignetting are well corrected (all lines are straight), that's a very good news ...
