Default will this work??

I just picked up a 50d and is needing to hook up a pc cord to it, I dont want to use the pc sockett that is on the camera as I dont want to expose the other inputs to the dust in the air from the race track. All the other shooters out there us Nikon stuff and they use this adaptor on their bodies.

I was wondering if these would work on the Canon hotshoes or is it Nikon only? if its only Nikon is there a Canon version?

thanks

BA
