Thanks for the comments...I'm trying to eek all I can from this lens...often times I'm dissatisfied as its not "L" quality like I used to have :oops:

But when reality sets in...I'm very happy with what this lens is capable of producing considering it's price tag...LOL

YOUR shots are fantastic given the conditions you were shooting in...I love the detail you're getting on their heads especially!!!

As you know, the 55-250 is a very capable lens, given it's price tag. No it's not L quality...but you got pretty close with the sparrow shot!

Thanks for the kind words on my Eagle photos. Where we go to shoot these Eagles, they get pretty close sometimes and 250mm can be enough. Am hoping to get a longer L lens just for this place as I miss a lot of the action due to my limited focal length...but we make do with what we have, right?
