Fortunately this is not my house. Ice dams can cause leaks inside the house.
Unfortunately I live in this neighborhood. It's been shoveling and shoveling for 6 weeks and our winter does not end until sometime in March.
By the way Stan does Florida have bad winter weather?

I was just going to say, they better get some better insulation in that roof attic to prevent that much melting, or start breaking that up before it does some serious damage. When I lived in NY area, I always shoveled the roof after a large snowstorm. It can save a few thousand dollars in repairs.

This morning is the first time that the thermometer reads above 0.
We have had temperatures between -5 to -25F for the last week.
Although it's been colder in Minnesota. They had aeound -46F.
