Don't take Jon seriously. Continue on to blabber about geekisms.

We can comment on the madness of it all?? I dunno, I'm done my upgrade. Out of all this madness I got the idea to wander over to the campus computer store and check out the price of software. Found that I could get CS5 for $800 cheaper than Future Shop was selling it for. So I bought it. Then decided that I would upgrade the RAM on my computer to run the program properly. Bought Windows 7 to make the most of the RAM. Paid a geek $20 to install everything.

I payed out about $500 for everything and CS5 normally costs about $1000 here.

That's the extent to which I have been involved in this frenzy. I would post more pictures but I am currently trying to figure out CS5 and it's driving me nuts.

All you non computer folk just need to start talking about what you are interested about, we start talking computers, then you guys stop posting, so we have no choice but to continue talking about computers.

Just on a side note, as we talked about SSDs yesterday:
Someone managed to wear one out with only 11TB of writes...
http://forum.notebookreview.com/soli...h-warning.html

This is why you need to chose the right SSD

Jon has a good sense of humor and is actually quite liberal in his views. Ignoring him, however, is something one does foolishly.

He's kind of like a Cocker Spaniel: cute cuddly, soft, and underestimated. Cockers are responsible for more bites than any other breed, bar none.

I know, the adobe rebates for students are great, 20% of the regular retail price.
-> Only I don't need someone to set things for me I do it myself.

Good idea - alternatively, out computer talk might go under in the "other noise"
