This poll inspired by the post, "which body do you use most?"

Favorite body that we own or favorite body we'd like to own? :) My favorite is my gripped 7D but might give it up for a current model 1D.

7D but, my 40D isn't too shabby either. I shot with the 30D and 40D with 17-55mm f/2.8 IS and 70-200mm f/4l IS lenses for a long while.

I would rather shoot with that pair wearing the two above lenses than to shoot with a single 7D. However, I just love my 7D/40D combination...

7D very closely followed by my 40D.

The DSLR that I didn't like was the Rebel XT or 350D. The image quality was O.K. but, I absolutely hated the control system and the minuscule LCD.

5dmk2 for ultra crisp digital looking files. High MP to take advantage of cropping for the "perfect" composition. Ridiculously forgiving exposure. Taking advantage of shallow dof from full frame sensor for portraits. Even f/2.8 can have dreamy bokeh effects.

5d classic for phenominal portrait shots that has a more film/smooth feel while benefiting from the full frame goodness of shallow dof.

1dmk3 for my actuation pig. I careless of how many actuations I put on this body because its not my goto body for portraits. This body is my events body. Stupid accurate sharpness with perfect AF but must be careful of blooming orange hue/loss of skin tones when accidentally overexposing with high ISO's.

No question--5D classic. Images straight out of that camera are amazing.

5D - selling the 30D soon as it is never used anymore. Anyone want to trade a 30D for a 1DIV? :p

My favorite is the one that I currently have: the 5DMII. Before that, it was the 5D.
