Here are a couple of my attempts. Nothing quite like steady-hand Jay or any of you other folks. I think everything is 1/100th or faster. Instead of shooting really slow, I just go to fly-ins where you can get withing 25 yards of the runway! I think both of these have been posted before on the forum, but here they are:

A Travel Air 4000 at the Antique Airplane Association's 2010 fly-in, Blakesburg, IA.

A Cessna 195 at the Skagit Aero Education Museum's 2010 fly-in, Concrete, WA.

I spend too much on flying to have much equipment worth listing!

I need to get more when the aircraft are closer to the ground. I've been focusing on motorcycles lately. Hopefully I should get some good stuff with a rented 500L at the Rhode Island airshow in June though.

Thanks! After reading so much about them used as FAC aircraft during Vietnam it was incredible to see one fly

If you liked what you have read about the FAC's there is book called "Call Sign Rustic" that was written by a FAC pilot who flew in Vietnam. The book gives you a good look into what their mission was all about and is filled with real stories.

Maybe this should be read so people know what panning is.

Well all the images in here are technically panning. It's just the blurred background and not plain blue sky that is being looked for.
