that's how i've gotten both of mine...they were attached to an EOS 650...

I need to start looking harder.
Unless you're willing to sell one of your recently acquired gems.

May or may not be the best bargain I've found on eBay but I just bought a rear lens cap for 10 cents with free shipping. Anyone want to break that down for me in terms of what the seller actually pockets after eBay fees?

Picked up a C/Y Zeiss Planar 1.7/50mm with caps and hood for $167.50(BGN at KEH was ~$300) a few months ago, not a mark on the mount and looked as if it had been CLA'ed.

EF 100-400 in perfect condition for $1200 shipped.

I also bought a 70-200 f/2.8 IS in perfect condition on CraigsList for $1200

bought my 50d on ebay 2 years ago with a canon battery grip and 4 batteries, dual charger, boxes and everything for $900

bought my tamron 17-50 about a year and a half ago for $350 and found out that the girl never activated the warranty, so I got the 6 year warranty in my name. I've already made use of that.

I made about $400 a couple weeks back buying gold and silver on eBay and then immediately selling it back to APMEX. Not bad for a couple hours of work.

I bought a 10D with grip and a lens, can't remember which lens it was. This was over a year ago. Got it for $135. Sold it for about $80 more. Not a huge profit. But not bad.

Ain't nothin but a thing.

I really like this thread, so I'm going to bump it back to the top.

Last August I nabbed an EF 16-35mm f/2.8L USM Mark I lens from a seller on Craigslist for $775. Looking around now I see 'em for a few hundred bucks more!
