Default Question on printing

I know there's a printer specific forum but I wanted to get your expert astrophotography opinion.

I recently had a chance to visit some family out in the middle of nowhere in Idaho and I managed to get a few shots I liked. I'm looking to print a couple 8x10's to frame send them as a thank you gift.

For those of you who have your photo's printed at a lab where do you send them and what kinds of paper do you like?
