Earlier this week, a friend and I were exploring the trails at Palo Duro Canyon SP, Texas. We found this "crack" in the side of a canyon bluff which is an entrance to a little known and apparently structurally unsound and thus unadvised cave complex called "Katarina Cave".
![]() We had NO idea what we were in for. After a short distance the "crack" opened up and the high-noon sun was pouring in from small openings above... the light was dramatic: ![]() ![]() Here are a few other sights along the trails from a very rewarding day: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Todd |
