Default S100 battery life issues

The review came out on Gizmodo - http://gizmodo.com/5858210/canon-pow...hell-of-a-flaw

Anyone else hear of these types of issues with the battery. I could live with only 200 shots on a charge but I'd expect the battery to hold its charge so its ready to go. I usually charge my battery and then carry the camera for potentially days before using it. From the review above it sounds like if I did that the battery would be dead.
