Default Well known black dog photographer?

Not entirely sure this is the right forum but given the pet relation I hope someone will know who I'm talking about.

There was a photographer years ago who did some well known black and white shots of black dogs. One of the better known shots is a large black dog (I believe a dane or a lab) on a lighter colored hardwood floor. It's shot from above the dog and has his whole body in the shot.

I'm trying to figure out the photographer so I figure if I can find the photo I can find the photographer. Anyone have any idea who I'm talking about?
