I see that many members collect old cameras, but didn't find a suitable thread.

So, this is a thread to post photos of old cameras you are collecting.

Please describe a bit the camera operation, how it came to your hands and post some photos of the camera.

I will start with my Revueflex 5005 SLR.
It has a big bright viewfinder with a light meter, works in automatic aperture priority mode. Accepts M42 auto lenses. Focusing on the viewfinder is very very easy. The camera stops down the lens at the aperture set on the lens the moment of the exposure.

I found it at an old stuff shop in the flea market. I wanted only the 50mm/1.4 lens, but the owner wanted 20 euros for the camera-lens so I settled it down at 14 euros and bought the camera.
Inserted a battery and works fine. I loaded a film but didn't finish it yet.Needs further cleaning also.

Stetzam, I think this thread will take off! I'm subbed already.

Ok, here's the Linhof Super Technika V I won on ebay a couple of weeks ago. Always wanted one, but finally found a truly mint one at a decent price. The serial no. shows it is from c.1970. The lens is a Schneider Xenar 150mm (normal lens for 4x5 format) f/4.5 in a Linhof Compur shutter, although I will be shooting with more modern lenses.

I'm worried:

Ok, feeling better now:

Nice outfit tomy.
I used one in forensic work many years ago to photograph documents.
I decided to experiment with loading photographic paper instead of sheet film into it. You should try it some day. Use Ilford MultiGrade and rate it at ISO400.
You'll be pleasantly surprised - as long as you actually are into darkroom work.

Bought a new Zenit PhotoSniper at the flea market yesterday. The seller, a Russian, asked for 120 euros, I offered 50, he wouldn't accept less than 70euros. It's a '79 model, with the Zenit EC camera, a Tair 300mm/4.5, a Helios 44-2 58mm/2, filters, caps, gun, all in a metal box.
They say it was KGB's camera! I say it is very heavy but easy to focus, put it on the EOS, it is a decent lens for shooting airplanes or wildlife, for short time, weights more than 1,5 kg.
And don't use it near people around!

Some cameras I inherited after my grandfather died. Still trying to figure out if any of them will still work.
