My newly acquired 28mm f2.8. I won it on an auction in between Xmas and New Years.
I got it for a bargain. It's very sharp wide open, noisy focus though!

Here it is pictured next to my 50 1.4 for size comparison.

I had one of those way back when, eventually got the 24 f2.8 and then went up from there. Good little lens though, especially on full frame!

I'm quite happy with mine. When I brought it, I started having second thoughts thinking it might be a tad too wide. As I generally shoot tight.
But after playing with it tonight. I'm enjoying it's focal length.

I know where this will lead me to. A 35L.

I've got this little lot and a Sigma 150-500 just ordered. Quite a nice little set I think. They normally share their time between my 7D and 5DMkII.
I just hope for once I get the pic to show and not just a link. Lol.

Had the 70-200 sitting on the tripod, so I took some shots of it.

I thought I'd post something slightly different - a couple of accessory lenses made by Canon for the Powershot G-series of cameras. I recently got these as part of a job lot on eBay for my G9 and did some studio-style pictures of them today.

This second one is actually a two-shot focus stack as the width of the lens made it impossible to get the glass and the words sharp at the same time, even though I was shooting at f/11.

The lenses are great, but they seriously spoil the pocketability of the G9 when you mount one on it!

Mark.

Why does the Canon Extender EF 2x cost more than the Sigma APO Tele Converter 2x EX DG? Canon gives you more stuff.
