Fantastic shots all of them, but that last one is just amazing. Great work and thanks for posting these. I would love a chance to see these owls in person some day.

Henrik, you're a very lucky man! What a wonderul opportunity to shoot such an impressive bird.
All of these images you've chosen to display are wonderul. I find it very difficult to pick a favorite, so I'll pick 2 - #2 and #5 stand out to me from an extremely nice series.

1, 4 and 5 stand out for me because of the killer bg and light

W:shock:W!

Superb set of images. The last is a look I don't think I've seen too many of with the wings tucked in like that.

Great shots. I like the last one in particular. The Owl looks like he's sizing you up!

They are fantastic shots! That last one is outstanding. Really outstanding.

Beautiful set.

john7d,gitzo and stuff

Thanks guys. The last one is my favorite as well. Out of the sequence, this was the only shot where the owl was looking right at me. I was very fortunate with the unique wing position.

Very nice set Henrik! I really like the flying shot!
I have the same problem deleting my snowy shots too....

Cheers, Ron

Yeah, it's tough pressing that delete button. I mean it's only hard drive space, right???

Thanks Ron.

Wowza, outstanding shots.

Thanks everyone. It's been about 5 years since we had them here last time. But this year.....this year there are lots of them. The count today was 27. It has been over 30....and that's within a 15 minute walk.

Thank you very much. I am pretty happy with that last one - it's unlike any owl shot I've ever gotten.

Appreciate your comments.
