Shot for the Monster Jam Website, at the Tampa Florida show, Feb 4th, 2012 at Raymond James Stadium. It was a sold out show! Check out their website Advance Auto Parts Monster Jamexternal link . Reserve tickets for next years show. It's a great show and something that everyone should see, especially if you have kids.

It was Grave Digger's 30th Anniversary

I have never seen a Monster Truck jump this high before! It was amazing!

Yeah, he landed fine. Simply amazing. He's like 50' in the air. For this shot I am on the walkway on the second level, like where that tunnel is just to the rt of the truck. He is above that.

So what size lens were you using? I had brought in my 70-300mm and almost got ejected by security.

The only way to get decent images at these events is to use fast glass. The entire set was taken with the 70-200mm f/2.8. I was the photographer for the show, and had media credentials for the show. They're used on their website, and to make posters, and other advertising stuff.
