Default what are you using to get these shots

ok I love the fruit shots and esp the drop shots but how are you getting them

I am planning on using a bowl - but how

I have a clear bowl - but it's not that big - how do you get a black background - do you use a sheet

so many questions!!

any tips for a beginner on this LOL
