Default Sunday Afternoon Hike

Took our pup out to the local State Park for a Sunday afternoon hike. I've been on kick with the nifty-fifty lately and used it for these shots. We're just on the verge of spring flower season down here, which is absolutely breathtaking, so this was good practice. Recent heavy rains really helped the grasses.

1. Start of the trail - I overbaked it a touch, but like the effect.

2. "I'll find you, pop."

3. This one's my favorite

Thanks. I see what you mean about the red; I'm not sure why the color-cast is there.

Many thanks. I think there was a quote in the Ceasar's book along the lines "If you want to show your dog you love him, then take him for a walk." Nothing makes her happier.
