Thanks Janosch - 7D, 15-85 IS (rather than my usual dog shots where I use a 70-200)

I removed his harness and lead in PP (responding to suggestions) as this is his more usual 'look' as he can never be let off the lead (it's a breed 'thing' rather than lack of training/discipline - although he is a rescue he's very obedient)

A few weeks back, I shot my black GSD against black. Two different friends wanted their dogs shot the same way.. so this is what they have. .. an English Mastiff .. and a Rhodesian ridgeback.
The dogs are sun lit .. with a black backdrop in the shaded background.

There are some awesome dog shots in here!

Here's Tasker, lying on the porch our first day in our new house. We had sprayed him off with a hose while his leather collar was still on and it turned his neck pink.
