What program are people using to open these? LR4? My LR3 does not recognize them it seems.

Downloading the RAW files now!

You have to download the new RAW converter for Photoshop. Don't have link though sadly.

Wow after looking at these in CS5, THESE are what we have been waiting for!

Beautiful performance across all ISO... ISO 1600 is super, super clean. Highly detailed.

Just opened the ISO 6400 now and even at 100% fill light, no banding. High detail, low noise. I like what I see.

12,800 and 25,600 both really good.. I would use either without question. Again, pushing these reveal no pattern noise or banding. Great detail again.

ISO 51,200 looks a little messy with detail and noise, but I would use it in a crunch. ISO 102,400 may be a stretch for me. It starts to get pretty bad, which I expect at a "H2" pushed setting.

I am very, very impressed.

Yay for good examples! Makes me even more excited. This is what I was waiting for.

100% crop from ISO 25,600.... (note photobucket may have cut details a bit with compression)... Standard sharpening and noise reduction (at like 20 or 30 in CS5)...

Invertalon, people are saying that compared to the mark II there is not much difference. Do you have noise reduction set to zero?

Here is a direct comparison at high ISO. Tell me that detail is not better in 5D3... I did not touch these, at all. These are direct comparisons.

Wow, these are looking good. Tough to compare with the D800 full res high ISO shots we have as this is a more carefully controlled studio scene, but at first glance the 5DIII seems to have a sizeable advantage, at least at the per-pixel level.

Wow, I want one now. Can't wait till it out. If I don't sell my MkII, I'll just buy the MkIII anyways.

After looking at all the RAW files and playing around with them some.

I would use ISO 50-25,600 without question. 51,200 I would use when need be as my upper limit... ISO 102,400 though is a bit rough... I would avoid it unless it was either get a shot or non at all.

So happy with these... I am excite.

Did you guys notice this is a Beta version of the camera?
Does that mean we can expect even better on a full finished product?

Very possible... Although I am sure it won't be TOO much different.
