Phil do you recommend the 15 or 30 degree one?

In my case, I am using a 30. coverage is just right (not to wide and not to narrow... this is when I shoot beauty)

... if I need narrower beams of light, I use a snoot.

Wowza! Great work guys. Love them both.

Dhindo, your stuff looks straight from a magazine.

Phil, your work is always fantastic and I love the creative backgrounds youve been doing lately.

Here's one from yesterday focused around makeup. Question though, my modeling light went out about 2 weeks ago on my ABR800. I know there's 8 of them but if one goes out, does that cut the power to all of them working or does it skip that and power the rest?

WooHoo, got me some more bees. 12 total including 4 AB800, 5 AB1600 and 2 AB400, and a ABR800 for fun.

no joke that is nuts! I can't see myself using more than 7-8 on a shoot.

down load it and look at the histogram. it pretty easy. it also depends on the base image.
note: mine is not using the same lighting style as his, his looks to be high contrast lighting.

converted to b+w and drag the black end of the curve up to match the histogram. tweeked the highlights a tad, but ya that looks like about it, im sure he had some more stuff but that is the base.
but honestly why would you want to do that to a good photo? (im not a fan of the haze fad, nor do i really like everyone slapping on the "fashion haze/glaze/cross process" on to every single effing image lol
