That's awesome, I would love to see a setup shot of one of your car shoots if you don't mind. I also like to have the image close to final product straight out of camera. The less I have to do in photoshop the better. BUT, lights get expensive lol.
True, but I fly my retoucher out from new mexico when I need him, and that gets expensive too since he is on site when I have a large job that I will not be doing the retouching. And his hourly rate of $120/hr is better to have me light the car correctly while I have it since I charge by the day to shoot a car, so 1 hour or 3 is the same price and the studio is a flat rate for up to 16 hours for a full day.
