I have taken photos for many of my friend's children but only outside. I am going to attempt a newborn photoshoot for a friend. What size backdrop stand should I purchase? I hope to take this passion professionally in the future so I do not want to buy something that I will need to replace later because it is not applicable for other shoots (i.e. parents standing with child).
thank you |

This all depends on what you want the shoot to look like. There is no reason that you can't shoot indoor portraits of a newborn in a natural surrounding. A newborn can't sit up on their own so a backdrop's use is limited. Do you know what you want to shoot?
