Default Drag Boat Racing

Does anyone have any experience with drag boat racing events? I mainly shoot drag racing, but never a boat drag racing event. There is one fairly close to me this summer in Marble Falls, Tx. and would like to take pictures. There doesn't seem to be much if any information on any of the websites about photo taking that I can find though.

I would hate to show up with my 400mm lens and someone freak out over it!
