I have a four-year-old PowerShot SD1100IS, and it's currently sitting pretty at 9,944 pictures taken. (As in, the newest file transferred to my computer is IMG_9944). Since there are only four characters in the file numbers, will it be a problem once I hit 10,000 pictures? Will it just start over from IMG_0001, or something like that?
I'm mostly asking because I'm assuming I will use up the last 54 shots sometime soon... it's just that senior prom is in two weeks (!!) and I absolutely don't want to hit 10,000 and render the camera useless in the middle of that! Thank you in advance. |
