Default Need a profile photo for work, can I see yours?

Got a job with a small youth media team, and as part of the gig I have to submit a profile photo with a few sentences about me. It's nothing complicated, but I don't quite feel inspired enough to get a good idea on what to do or which direction to take.

How do your profile photos for work look like, and if you don't have one, how would they?

Yours truly photographed by POTN member Hatch1921 (Frank Hatcher)...

"Non-Denominational" Head Shot

Photography-specific Version

Large Octa-box high camera left. Reflector camera right. Snooted Speedlite for the background pool of light. IIRC, he was using a 5DMkII + 85mm f/1.2L

Wow, that looks great! Wonder if I can get something similar with the clamp lights I have D:

VERY nice, Jay! I like how you're cradling that big guy.

Here's mine:

Beauty dish camera left, umbrella camera right, and white seamless with no light on it, if I remember correctly.

I have a handful of creative self-portraits, and I change them up depending on who's looking. My two recent favorites:

Ohh, so they're usually just against a solid background? I don't have a lot of studio gear except for some home depot clamp lights and a solid white drape.

Would some kind of shot in a park be good enough? There's no real difference between a profile shot and portrait, is there?
