Hi
I have posted this elsewhere but had no response. Can the settings be sent via email? Any comments on my settings? I shoot motorsports.

I have been trying to get my computer to recognise my 1D2 but to no avail. All I want to do is set up my Personal Functions (and if also possible my copywrite info) www.MariusNel.co.uk

Could someone set up the following personal functions and email them to me so that I can load them onto my camera via SD card.

P.Fn-01 Disable: Programme and Bulb
P.Fn-02 Disable: Center-weighted Average and Partial
P.Fn-03 spot metering.
P.Fn-04 1/30 – 1/640
P.Fn-05 f/5.6 – f/20
P.Fn-06 enable
P.Fn-07 enable.
P.Fn-08 7 frames
P.Fn-09 low, middle, high,
P.Fn-10 enable
P.Fn-14 enable
P.Fn-15 enable
P.Fn-16 enable
P.Fn-17, Disable
P.Fn-18 enable
P.Fn-19 Low 2 fps High 6 fps
P.Fn-20 10 shots
P.Fn-21 enable.
P.Fn-23 6 second timer to 12 sec
P.Fn-24 Disable
P.Fn-25 Manual Mode, Evaluative Meter, Continuous drive, AI Servo Auto Focus, single point AF, RAW image, Automatic White Balance, Parameter Set 1, and sRGB color

Are you using a USB cable or firewire cable to try and change the personal functions? The only way to set up the personal functions is with a firewire cable and the Canon software.

the 1d2 only communicates with EOS utility on 32bit OS. There are no drivers for 64 bit systems. Are you on a 64bit system, that may be the cause.

Thanks Don. Those were taken from last weekend event down 54th St. @ Newport Beach. Good to see a fellow OC photog here in this thread. Huntington Beach will have a surfing competition this weekend so perhaps we can shoot around.

Hey Guys.. I need my 1DMK2 service and tuned up, and Canon Irvine is not doing the Mk2s anymore..

Any other reliable shops around US Based ? Don't want to pay too much since I'm saving for 5DMk3.
