Do you know why people think Zeiss/Voigtlander/Leica lenses look good? Because they're hewn from solid pieces of metal and glass with utmost quality - they exude fine craftsmanship and precision. If Tamron made lenses like the aforementioned, I'd most definitely think they were beautiful.

The new 200-400mm (should it ever be released) is like porn to me. You can keep your primes.
This thing has lumps and bumps all over. Plus lots of switchy things, a button, a knob, and a lever thingy - what more could you ask for??

I’ve never seen so many buttons and switches on a zoom lens. She is beautiful indeed. I’d sell my 85L II and 70-200 IS II for 200-400L anytime

^ Definitely looks much nicer(to me) than the 85L II. I love the look of the knurled zoom/focus rings on older lenses!
