My other half works for the Dogs Trust here in the UK and consequently we end up looking after the waifs and strays, particularly ones that are struggling to cope in kennels or ones that would benefit from a family environment as opposed to getting stressed out, until new loving homes can be found

Raffa our blind black lab came home for a few weeks from the Dogs Trust at around 12 weeks old, just to see how well he manages in a home full of furniture, people/kids and other dogs.
That was three years ago, he never went back :D:D:D

He is amazingly tolerant of any puppies or other doggie guests that we are helping out, he just seems to know hows best to play with them and lets them dictate whether its gentle or rough play

We are currently looking after a doberman puppy that was born with a deformed front leg, and this is typical of how he and Raffa sleep

^^That is awesome! Gonna try that.

Yeah! Making the animation is a little tedious, but I think it's really cool.

Loving the Harleigh photos...and the photo of Raffa and the doberman is just fricking adorable.

So fantastic in so many ways.

I've been using manual lenses lately so my keeper rate has gone down big time, so a quick timelapse for now.

Blah - these didn't turn out very good at all, but still thought I'd share some! We're gonna go again to attempt better ones (aka later in the evening).

Cleo. She was only 10 and her passing recently was very unexpected. Sent this picture to Canvas on Demand today.

As Ive previously mentioned, Raffa was born completely blind
Not that he cares, still lives life to the full and is totally happy

Heres a shot of him when we first took him in from the Dogs Trust here in the UK, my other half works there and initially we took him home to just see how well he coped with his disability
Needless to say he never went back
:cool::cool:

I feel like I've been bombarding the board with pictures lately, lol. However, Harleigh got her new collar yesterday and I snapped these pictures. Naturally I had to share :D
