Beautiful day here in Central California! I am off to Hobby Lobby to find the feathers to finish the hat I am making for a Kentucky Derby luncheon I am going to this weekend. It is also a fundraiser for our county's food bank so it should be fun. I will post a hat photo when I have finished it.

Sounds like fun. i have a get to know the other students breakfast on Saturday that I'm not organizing, so I just have to show up with food and stay to talk. Should be fun.

It's very exciting here for sports as our hockey team is doing well. Rocking the Red on Wednesday.

Table, chairs and bar stools arrived today. I am so glad my wood chairs are gone... these will be much easier to keep clean with the kids!

Very pretty, Mo.

Those stools look a little spindly. Better keep Skip off of them.

Just got back from a personal tour of Arlington National Cemetery with our Board of Directors. My ADMIN Officer's husband is the Commanding Officer of the Old Guard who provide the Tomb Guards for the Tomb of the Unknowns and he took us on the tour. We watched the Changing of the Guard Ceremony and then toured the underground quarters where the Tomb Guards live while on their 24 hour duty schedule. I was privileged to meet some outstanding young soldiers today!

Jim, that sounds amazing.

Mo, nice stuff you got there! Yes, I like the new chairs. I have wooden ones and like them, but they are way hard to clean.

Had a friend over for lunch and they are very comfortable chairs
Finally took a few photos of Jayda, whom I am going to watch 2-3 hours/day, 3 days a week starting in 4 weeks. She didn't sleep the whole time she was here but she was a pretty good baby

What a beautiful baby, Mo. I don't do much babysitting these days. My house is made for teenagers, but if I had my granddaughter closer, it will so be a baby house.

I am in the baby, toddler groove so I am just as happy to have a tiny baby in my house again. Jayda is still pretty teeny at almost 6 weeks. She weighs almost 9 lbs.

Having a grand time in Hilton Head...rehearsal was perfect! Got some awesome photos using the 7D and the 17-55 EF-S lens and a little fill flash. Wedding is this afternoon. Some photos to follow...I could live here forever...just beautiful!

Oh, a beautiful day for a wedding, Jim. Hope you're having fun.

Mo, I would love a little baby to spoil. How fun.

Spent the morning baking a sausage casserole for a breakfast of incoming TJ kids and their parents. Very nice. I got to plug my summer classes. And I think there are some very nice kids carpooling with Jared this summer. I am driving every day but Wednesdays in the morning. Should a wonderful summer.

I spent the good part of the afternoon yesterday getting vacation plans made and it took forever talking to the customer service people at Interval and Marriott. I finally did it, though, and I think we may take a cruise next summer sometime.
