Hey Bret, love the osprey, great shots and he is a beautiful specimen. The eagles are good shots of classic eagle poses, maybe a bit underexposed, or need a bit more contrast? But to me, any classic eagle shot is a good eagle shot and I enjoyed them a lot. You seem to have no trouble getting close to all these magnificent birds.

I think ospreys and eagles should not be allowed in the same thread :) They command so much adoration the photographer won't get enough credits :). These are awesome shots Bret, The osprey perched on the small branch is stunning, and the take-off shots of the eagle is also equally stunning. Beautifully done!

Maybe you say they are not your best, but they are still enjoyable to look at and I for one am glad you shared. I love the shots of Baldie as he is about to take off. Very cool poses!

Very nice work Brett with the distance, I have a hard time seeing 100 yards ;) The Osprey shots are excellent, pa doesn't look too excited to see you.

Thanks everyone, very much appreciated.
As far as the distance, I guessed at 100 yds. but here is the original just cropped and minimal work. this was at 800mm.

Spot on, as always, Bret; the osprey shots are spectacular, in particular.

You're definitely getting the Osprey evil eye there Bret. You had some sweet light with the eagles and I love the second to last shot. Great shooting as always.

The detail you retain at that crop level is amazing.
