Default What do you think of this logo?

I am redoing my logo after a long hiatus away from photography and I'm wanting to go from weddings to family and kids portraits. I'm still deciding between the two designs, but what are your thoughts of this logo? Do you think it fits family portraiture? What feelings do you get from the logo? Please share your thoughts!

Yes, but in this post I was actually asking if the logo fits family and kids portrature. Not to actually vote between the two logos like the other post. I just didn't crop out and show the one logo I will be going with (option B). Since this is the Family and Kids section I thought I would get some different feedback.

If it was me, I'd make it a bit smaller and make it the O in Oglesbay (whichever you pick).

A doesnt look right, clear choice is B.

I don't know if your logo is going to do you much good in the type of photography you're after. It's more about your style and website than just the logo.

In addition, I think the "aperture" logo has been overdone...

1, A, because letter O and your name letter O, but I don't think anyone will care unless you were iconic. They will care more about the images. I understand though. You want a good logo.

I like B better, but the logo itself is too cold and corporate for me.

"A" looks wrong, except if it was used as the letter O in the name. I agree with davisphotos, seems a bit cold and corporate to me as well. As a mother of a child, I'd probably be one of your target clients, and I don't get the warm fuzzies when I see the logo by itself. But in saying that, a logo is not everything. It could work.

I agree..no warm fuzzies. Does not say babies, but it is clever.

If you're asking if this logo says "family and kids" I'd say very much not. Its not bad, just maybe not what you wanted.

I'd have to agree with the comments above also. Most people coming in for family portraits probably wouldn't even know what it is. I know I wouldn't have before taking an interest in photography.
As someone said, too corporate, to me, it doesn't translate to "this guy will take really nice pics of my kids/family".
Just my $.02!

I like B. Do check and see how your logo would look if it was only using 1or 2 color as well.
