Have you ever been in a situation where the publicist have said, "You're on the list", yet when you arrive there, apparently you're not?

sometimes the band hasn't turned in the list yet, other times there's a snafu. this is why it's nice to have an on-site contact. |

Yeah, they weren't there though...had their mobile phone number but went to some strange voicemail message.

This happens more time then it should with me. Twice last week. Both times worked out fine. Missed 90% of the opener for one show though.
I love the opposite sometimes too. "Joe, our list is pretty full, I'll get back to you" "Okay, you are all set with a pass + ticket" Then you get to the venue to find a +1 in the envelope but you didnt bring anyone. Silly.

To me, the publicist said it was an error :/
I'm making of it what I want, last time the lighting was ****e with the band and venue, so they expect brilliant photos, pffft. Though not the band's fault
