There are some really nice shots here and some that are so-so. That is the thing with Explored pics. If you browse all 500 from a single day, you will find a bunch of garbage. That is the bad thing about Explore. No one knows exactly how the top 500 are chosen.

With that being said, I have yet to have a photo explored

Yeah sometimes I wonder how some of them get picked. I actually got another two photos into explored on the same day but one got dropped oh well I don't really care that much.

I had my 2nd one in 2 years+ this week.
Didn't realise till I checked with the Scout Tool.
It has had 800+ views in 3 days so someone must like it!

Kimi in the Yard, Again by Christopher Brian's Photography, on Flickr

Made #16 for June 11th.

Three of my other four have been dropped. Why that happens many days after the days rankings have been made is just stupid.

An article explaining why Explore is immensely flawed. So hey, while it's nice to get Explored it only means so much.

I agree explore doesn't really mean anything...I think one of the only benefit is more exposure, but it shouldn't be a gauge of your talent/ability as a photographer.

For example I recently had a bunch of my shots on explore over the past 1-2 months, but this one below hit the #1 spot yesterday...

San Diego [Explored] by boingyman., on Flickr

Although I prefer this version overall that didn't make explore..
