Great thread and photos here. love the people shots. This is Rose she has the geenest eyes I have ever photographed. I shot this with a Gold reflector and yellow orange walls Bouncing Light all around her in a door way. White Balance was set to Day light and shot this wide open 2.8. The boca on this lens is Awesome wide open.

Straight out of the camera only Sharpening in post

Body 5D mk II ... 70 200L USM IS II lens

The eyes are indeed riviting sort of like a movie poster for the wierd. I would like to see the same attention paid to the rest of her face.

yeah WB is way off... nice eyes but you didn't do much with the rest of the face and it makes the eyes look abnormal... jmho

I was going for the 2.8 boca look. with soft edges of the cheek bones to accentuate her eyes. Worked like a charm for what I wanted. WB was set to day light and color is from the yellow orange walls for a warm look to her skin. Her agent was happy which was a very good thing. Thank you guys for the input of your thoughts on this shot :D

I really love it. I don't see the WB as being off as you said you were using a gold reflector so were obviously going for a warmer look, perhaps a golden hour, late evening feel? II also like the soft skin and of course, the eyes.
