I didn't know what to do for my photo of the day... so now you must all suffer!
I actually thought it was pretty cool; has anyone else done something similar? I am thinking about developing this experiment a little further... ![]() 4 May 2012 by Marm O. Set, on Flickr ![]() collision by Marm O. Set, on Flickr |

I'll give you $1,000,000 if you guess all the ingredients correctly
Basically I grabbed a bunch of stuff lying around the house and put it all into a ziploc baggy. Squish it all up, manipulate a decent frame, and fire away! Mine has Arby's sauce, motor oil, food coloring, saran wrap, etc. You know, the usual suspects. I will be doing this again later... with different ingredients and aiming for different colors. The $1,000,000 offer is now retracted since I told you most of the ingredients I'd loooove to see your version if you try this; once it's all in the baggy it is a very clean process... much cleaner than I was afraid it would be. Getting it into the baggy is a different story... Thanks for the compliments |

So I took another stab at it; I like the first batch better
Next time I'm going to try some blues... ![]() 17 May 2012 by Marm O. Set, on Flickr ![]() retro by Marm O. Set, on Flickr ![]() mutagen by Marm O. Set, on Flickr Last edited by Marm O. Set : 17th of May 2012 (Thu) at 20:01. |

Just ran across this thread and absolutely love what you have done here. I've got to try it. I like the first two best and can definitely see these as large (ie: 30x40 or larger) wall prints.

Yeah, that's actually why I was doing these.
The red ones are for my red study, these greens are for my dining room. I'm eventually going to do a cyan/blue theme and then some whites/clears. Thanks for the compliments |

I like the more translucent character of the first shots and the grainy look that doesn't show up as well in the green images.
