Look at you all credentialed up! Sorry I was a little distracted at Sonoma - I know you had questions about the Mark III. Hit me up anytime and I'll do my best to answer anything.

Looking forward to images from you

Nice set, great framing thanks for posting.

With some nice sunshine, those colours just pop. I especially like the third last shot (Bike 79), nice pan and great angle.

Absolutely superb shots! You had some great shooting locations to get thos angles, #3 in the second series is amazing, the crop is perfect and the heat waves add to the feel....amazing how small of a contact patch they are hanging on. Oh and the girls in the first set....I think I'm in love with the blonde, did you get her name and number?

These are great !!!

It looks to me pretty clearly you had press credentials so you may or may not be able to answer this - for those of us without the photo vests etc., how is Infineon for shooting ? I've never been but will be going to the Sonoma Historics event coming up in a few weeks. Any advice is welcome.

Infineon is actually pretty good for shooting from certain spectator areas. Some of the fencing is pretty high like up in the Turn 2-4 areas, so you'll have to make your way high enough on hillside seating to clear them. Or you can practice shooting through the fence.

On the opposite side, from Turn 7-10 you can shoot from the hillside seating as well. The fencing is much lower there.

There is also a bridge to the infield near Turn 6 where you can shoot from various areas.

Bring a variety of glass and you'll be fine. Good luck!

What Jamil told you is spot on. With cars a 70-200 is pretty good but if you have access to or can borrow a 400 for some of the spots from terrace seating you will be able to isolate some cars.

BTW the rear shot in T2 (second pic I think) was shot from the spectator area.

Oh yeah Adam Corolla is the Grand Marshall for the event so that might be a fun thing.
