for daytime landscapes 10-22, take your kit lens 18-.... and for dark, the 17-55f2.8 takes some beating, its also very good during the day, and may have less distortion than your 18-.... lens
depends if you want to hire 1 or 2 lenses I guess |

what about something with a slightly longer range than 17-55? heading towards from 18mm to around 150-200mm
