I wish I could find someone close to me so we could join up and do some shooting. I have places to go but don't feel comfortable to go alone with such valuable equipment.

I am in Clinton, situated 60 miles from Raleigh down I40 and 60 miles from coast down I40

I'm in Charlotte, NC. Would be cool to meet some other photographers in the area. Been inactive on the forum for a little while but getting back on the wagon.

There are annual events that I believe people on here gather for, I have not made the last two because of getting married and going on a family vacation, maybe this year!

I see you are in Charlotte, I am in Kings Mountain. Which area of Charlotte?

I just got married Sept 2011 myself. We live on the west side of Charlotte. Near Mt. Holly.

Might be a few of us meeting this Sun., and/or next Fri. for Sunrise on the Bridge (Sunday 9/2) and Sunset on the Bridge( 9/7) at Grandfather Mountain. I'll be there; Woolburr is checking his Sunday schedule, haven't heard back from Jdizzle or mtnphtgrphr.

Anybody going to the Lee county airport tomorrow to get pictures of the B-17 Memphis Belle. It will be there Saturday and Sunday, but on Sunday there is a 50% chance of rain. Plan to get there between 12 and 1 PM.
