seem to be getting some mixed opinions on which one is better. i personally liked the original but these are the crops and edits as well.
Original ![]() crop 1 ![]() crop 2 ![]() i'm all about learning but when people start giving conflicting opinions on what a good shot is it gets a little confusing. be as harsh as you wish this is the internet and i got some tough skin |

top one is suppose to be the original, but crop one shows the whole goose....can we see the true original since all of these are cropped.....
If I had to pick one I would say crop one but then I would say clone out the half baby goose

ok maybe i should have explained....crop 1 above is actually a composite of 2 different images as i didn't actually capture the entire momma goose in the original picture.
this is the extra you are seeing in crop 1 ![]() |

either add this baby dock to crop 1 or loose it, but cutting it in half is not right...

lol now that you mention it i would have to agree...let me see what i can do. i think cloning it out might be a lil easier but easier just isn't fun
gonna be a little longer to add in the rest of the duck....accidentally saved the PSD file with the 800pixel width, so now i've got to start all over :S ok this is the last edit i'm doing of this photo lol, if one of these isn't acceptable well too bad haha ![]() Last edited by outtamymind : 19th of May 2012 (Sat) at 04:20. |

It gets easier when you find yourself composing the subject before clicking, saves alot of editing time

ya. i've noticed that, i try to compose it but forget about some of the other area's of the frame and find myself alot of the time cutting off parts of the subjects. its something i've slowly become more observant of. just get a lil overwhelmed when i'm out in some of my favorite spots. and the geese move so damn quickly sometimes that you just got to get that shot in or you'll miss it.
