Default A season skiing and snowboarding in Japan

Well guys and girls, heres some photos from the season I just finished about a month ago. Im a snowboard Instructor working at a resort called Myoko Kogen, in Niigata Japan.
I think it shows pretty well why we like it there so much. The snow is amazing.

Daz getting in a good powder slash

Tom have a great spring day

2 for one, was such a great day

A little bit of touring at a abandoned resort

Much needed lunch

Me getting some skiing turns in (handed my camera to a buddy). This was my second day back out after skiing into a tree and fracturing my knee cap 3 and a half weeks earlier

Last day of the season. We closed with a 3.2m base and 17m of snowfall for the season

Me on my board now.

Not my best pictures guys, they are in with magazines, hopefully will be getting one or 2 published

Still looking for CC

HAHA, this is nothing, in 4 days we had 3m of snow in january. Only got pictures on one of the days and most are the ones with the mags.

The shot of you in the yellow jacket is great, the light, the shadows, the branches, the pole basket peeling snow off the top, everything. Don't even have to close my eyes to feel it.

Its was a day that would be in my top 5, not the most snow but probably the best conditions sun wise and it was my 2nd time (successfully) skiing pow
