05.17.12 - M83 at the House of Blues in Houston
As mentioned in this thread, one of the best shows I've photographed this year. Given the opportunity to shoot these guys every night, I think I would.
First you take their celestial name and combine it with their spacey music which all melds in an ethereal live show that combines a starlit background, various spots and large light tubes on stage. The combination of all these things makes for some dreamy photos. Equipment: Canon 5D, Canon 5D Mark II, 70-200mm, 24-70mm, 17-35mm More photos on my Flickr 1. Such a good live band. The lighting got pretty awesome later on in the set.. would of been awesome to shoot but I was able to enjoy the rest of the show. 2nd time seeing them
