That's because they were hacked RAW, and were processed using a third-party software application, which doesn't allow entering corrections for lens aberrations. The SX1, with native Canon RAW and 20X zoom doesn't have any such problem when processed in DPP. And before you say that the software shouldn't have to compensate for lens aberrations, DPP includes correction profiles for the 100 L macro and 70-200 f/2.8 IS among others.
