At the recent Artsplosure 2012 here in Raleigh, NC the coordinators had arranged for the traveling sculpture exhibit "The Impressionist Garden" to be available for viewing. Since I am a huge fan of the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists I was itching to see this.
I was surprised to find that these sculptures are sculpted in steel and then painted to match the paintings they are inspired by. I thought they were great! Here are a couple for your viewing and C&C. The remainder of the album is here: http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...nist%20Garden/ Thanks for looking!
