jacobsen1, which filter did you use for those shots? I know there’s not a lot of choice for 82mm filters..

yeah, I used to HATE the idea of the 16-35II when it came out because I was a 77 guy and it's an 82 lens. But now I use Lees pretty much exclusively so I just needed a $50 82mm UWA ring and my panels work just the same. I have a full set of GNDs, a 10 stopper and a CPL (in 4x4 format). For these I was just using the 4x4 CP, except 5 that also has a 2.5 stop GND slid in sideways!

I live in So-cal. They were flying out of Orange county airport this past weekend, even though the 30 minute flight cost 1/3 of a 16-35L it was totally worth it!

^^ cool shots... I caught one of the "bird" as they flyby while we were shooting the Volcomania Pro-Am surfing competition down Newport Beach. One of the fella from the 300 F4L IS thread mentioned that it cost about $430 for a 30 min ride.

Some quick snaps from Disneyland. This lens is my least used lens and I think it might be about time to sell. I just am not a fan of the focal range which is too bad because it is a fantastic lens! FYI, these shots are also posted in the "kids and family" section.
