The local HS had their Senior Prom this past weekend. The theme was "Hollywood". We were asked to show up as "paparazzi" and snipe shots before and during. Part was along a lake and later at a winery overlooking the lake, complete with red carpet and a hillside Hollywood sign. A couple from the lake (harsh light):

Emily came in today to do some prom dress shots for a project we are working on. Doing some photo composition stuff so i should have a few up next week. Just for giggles we put her in the new Red backdrop.

Here is the front side of the dress. spent a bit more time and made a few more adjustments. These were taken with the new 5D3. Great little camera with a really good AF system

Good photo Mike. What is your reasoning to use a RED BG when she is wearing a pink/red dress? I am asking with a desire to learn how to match BG to dresses ETC. My choice would have been a darker blue/black

We put her in there for chuckles and giggles. We are actually doing some photo compsition work and thats why she was brought in. We just wanted to see how that pink dress looked in this backdrop.
