... cityscapes, parks, traditional buildings, temples, gardens, art places...

Leaving next weekend. Many thanks in advance!

Cityscapes - Namsan Tower (aerial view of the city), Teheran-ro between Gangnam and Samseong stations for street-level views of buildings, the Banpo bridge at the Han River at night, Jongno for more buildings and the Cheonggye stream. Even though Seoul is a megacity there aren't comparatively many skyscrapers.

Parks - Olympic Park, Haneul (Sky) Park, Seoul Forest

Traditional - Gyeongbok Palace/Gwanghwamun, Insadong (for souvenirs) and nearby Samcheong-dong (arts)

Other places with large crowds - Myeongdong (a shopping district), Daehangno (popular among college students, some parks/museums and local theater), COEX mall in Samseong-dong.
