One frame for the interior and aircraft blended with a second frame (via copy in LR4) for everything outside. Layer them and do some of that fancy mask stuff and you get:

Nice, but would be more relevant to me with a C172, PA28R-180, and Luscombe 8A.

Beautiful. The cross struts (if that's what they are called) are a little intrusive, but what can you do about that? To clone them out would make it unathentic (is that a word?).

Excellent composition - the amount of detail makes viewing the image a little strenuous. Maybe a shallower DOF and more brightness on the two aircraft in the background to separate them from the foreground element. You could also shift the overall color balance on the background aircraft to a higher color temp to separate them form the lower color temp of the foreground plane. THese adjustments will emphasize the foreground and the interesting lines and details while providing context and circulating the eye of the viewer to the background without crowding and confusing the viewer's eye. At least to me!
Very cool shot. I played with your image to mock up my suggestions and then realized you did not have Image Editing OK enabled. kirk Last edited by kirkt : 26th of May 2012 (Sat) at 14:45. |

Just something I saw in the hangar one afternoon. Serendipity at its best! Thanks! Quote:
Also, for me, it's as much about the line formed from one to another than it is about the subjects themselves. Although, a friend of mine pointed out that it would have been a real home run if it had gone from yellow Stearman to blue SNJ to Mustang as that's the order in which WWII pilots learned to fly! Thanks very much! Thank You!
