do you guys ever shoot the wedding rehearsal ? I never heard anyone shoot rehearsal.

I have shot one before, but one out of 80 or so weddings isnt very much.

That being said, I dont ever offer to shoot it.

I attend the rehearsal whenever possible, will bring a camera, and will take some shots... but it's not a full shoot...

my main goal at the rehearsal is meeting the wedding party and parents...

When I was cheaper (around $1500) I shot them for every wedding. It became less common around $4k-$5k. After I upped my prices from there, I've never been asked once.

I remember them being really, really easy. Sort of a way to get to know the whole party. There's no staging, or anything. Just shoot what happens for about an our, or so.

We just had a wedding where we were invited to it. Unfortunately we weren't able to make it, but it would have been fun. Instead, we shot the rehearsal dinner.

I will attend the rehersal if the venue or officiant is new to me. My main goal is to ensure that I have a good handle on how the event will unfold. I have never actually shot a rehearsal.
